Hibiscus Hit with Whiskey

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup hibiscus tea (brewed and cooled)
  • 3 tablespoons  Whisky
  • 1 tablespoon honey or simple syrup 
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • Ice
  • Hibiscus flower or lime wheel (for garnish, optional)

Instructions:

  • Brew the Hibiscus Tea:
  • Brew a cup of hibiscus tea according to the package instructions.
  • Allow it to cool to room temperature or chill it in the refrigerator.
  • Prepare the Cocktail:
  • In a cocktail shaker, combine the cooled hibiscus tea, Whisky, honey or simple syrup, and fresh lime juice.
  • Fill the shaker with ice.
  • Shake:
  • Shake well until the mixture is well chilled and combined.
  • Serve:
  • Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice.
  • Garnish with a hibiscus flower or a lime wheel if desired.
  • Enjoy:
  • Sip and enjoy the delightful blend of floral hibiscus tea.
