Lemon and Ginger Tea with Whisky

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup lemon and ginger tea (brewed and cooled)
  • 3 tablespoons of  whisky
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • ½ tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Ice
  • Lemon slice or fresh ginger (for garnish, optional)

Instructions:

  • Brew the Lemon and Ginger Tea:
  • Brew a cup of lemon and ginger tea according to the package instructions.
  • Let it cool to room temperature or chill it in the refrigerator.
  • Prepare the cocktail:
  • In a cocktail shaker, combine the cooled lemon and ginger tea, whisky, honey, and fresh lemon juice.
  • Fill the shaker with ice
  • Shake:
  • Shake well until the mixture is well chilled and combined
  • Serve:
  • Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice.
  • Garnish with a slice of lemon or a small piece of fresh ginger if desired.
  • Enjoy:
  • Sip and enjoy the blend of warming whisky with the zesty and spicy notes of lemon and ginger tea.
